Transforming a small backyard, a step down to a terrace of square-cut Black Wiarton stone slabs, set on the diagonal, expand the sense of space. A backdrop of custom cedar lattice, stained grey/green, conceals the garage and softens the boundaries of the property.
A figurative stone sculpture and water feature creates a focal point among lush plantings of Holly, Euonymus, and mixed perennials. Framing the entrance to the terrace, an Ivory Silk tree and a Serviceberry ensure an intimate, private setting.
